Warwick
is an historic city, with many charming sandstone buildings and
a solid, house-proud community.
The
Warwick Shire came into existence in July 1994, following the amalgamation
of Warwick City and the Shires of Glengallan (East), Rosenthal (West)
and Allora (North) Shires.
The
4,429km2 Shire encompasses the city of Warwick, towns of Allora
and Killarney and townships of Yangan, Dalveen, Karara, Leyburn
and Maryvale.
