Warwick VS Toowoomba Indigenous Touch Footy Match

This is the first of its kind and is shaping up to be a battle of epic proportions; the grudge between Toowoomba and Warwick in sporting fields has never been higher. When these two titan teams clash, there will be fireworks and the game will be played to a very high standard.

The day is also a chance for Indigenous community members to talk with the local police about some of the issues that are facing their community and their children.

There will be a BBQ and it will be a fun event for all!!!

In the Bin Short Film Workshop

10 th to the 12 th of April

In The Bin was run last year and was a huge success, the skills and development the Young People gained was phenomenal.

In the Bin is a short film workshop for Young People aged 13-18, the workshop is of a very high quality and you will learn HEAPS!! Things you will learn are.... How to capture that perfect shot, learn how to pick the right angles, Sound and lighting, how to make sure everything is shot to a high quality and you will learn how to edit your films to make them look professional.

During the workshops you will be split into groups of 4 to make a short film, which you will have to film and edit yourself, with the new skills you have learnt. There will also be a screening of your films on the last night of the workshop, to show off your films to the community.

The cost of this workshop is ridiculously low at only $50.00 for a three-day workshop run over the 18th, 19th and 20th of April.

If you wish to participate please contact Pam Burley on 4661 7166 ASAP as there are only 5 spaces remaining!!!
