The Notice of Result of Election for the Southern Downs Regional Council has now been received from the Returning Officer, Mr Gary Millard.

Ronald Bellingham was duly elected for the position of Mayor of Southern Downs Regional Council, and the following candidates were duly elected as Councillors:-

Peter Blundell

The first Meeting for the Southern Downs Regional Council will be the Post Election Statutory Meeting and has been scheduled for Wednesday, 2 April 2008 commencing at 9.00am in Council Chambers, 64 Fitzroy Street, Warwick.
